Being one of the best known neighborhoods in the nation, Beverly Hills has symbolized luxury and opulence for almost a century. The land was originally used to grow lima beans until a group of investors decided to develop the town in the early 20th century. The first home in Beverly Hills was completed in 1907 and, shortly after, they began construction on the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel to attract visitors and tourists. 

Since then, Beverly Hills has continued to grow into the city we know and love today. The area is 5.71 square miles in size and is neighbored by West Hollywood, Bel-Air, Carthay, and the Santa Monica Mountains. About 32,701 people reside in the prestigious city, where the median home price is an astonishing $2.9 million.
